The 4-day Summit Trekking Program is the ideal choice for families embarking on an adventure. Starting from the Sembalun trek route, it unfolds panoramic views of the sand savanna at the eastern entrance.

This trekking program is suitable for novice trekkers but demands a good level of fitness and endurance. Individuals with mountain sickness or height phobia are not permitted to join this tour. Tours can commence on any day, except in cases where weather conditions do not permit

Trekking Itinerary

Trekking Rinjani 4 Days

Visitors typically arrive at Pemenang port, either from Bali or the Gili Islands, while some may choose to arrive via Lombok airport. Regardless of the entry point, our comprehensive package includes transportation to our welcoming homestay in Senaru. Upon arrival, a delightful dinner awaits you, complemented by the opportunity to savor stunning views from our outdoor dining area, where playful monkeys may be spotted below. Additionally, our homestay provides convenient access to the nearby Tiu Kelep waterfall, just a 20-minute walk away, with the trail conveniently starting right in front of our accommodation.

  • Awaken at 6:00 AM and partake in breakfast.
  • By 7:00 AM, embark on a 45-60 minute transfer to Sembalun village.
  • Complete registration at Rinjani Information Center (RIC) at 1051m.
  • Initiate the trek to POS 1 (Pos Pemantauan 1,300 M) with a 2-hour walk, followed by a 10-minute rest at POS 1.
  • Proceed to POS 2 for an hour (Pos Tengengean 1,500m), taking a 10-minute break.
  • Continue to POS 3 (Pada Balong 1,800m) with a 1-hour walk. Lunch will be prepared at POS 3, with a 2-hour rest.
  • Press on for another 3 hours to Crater Rim (Plawangan Sembalun 2,639m).
  • Enjoy dinner and spend the night at Crater Rim Sembalun, relishing the sunset and anticipating the sunrise for the next day.
  • Awaken at 02:30 AM, indulge in a light breakfast, then depart at 03:00 AM.
  • Head towards Summit Rinjani (3,726m) with an estimated walking time of approximately 3 hours and 20 minutes.
  • From the summit, enjoy panoramic views of Lombok Island, Bali, Sumbawa, and Segara Anak Lake.
  • Return to camp for breakfast.
  • Descend to Segara Anak Lake and Hot Spring water for a 3-hour trek.
  • Lunch will be provided by Lake Segara Anak, with the hot spring water just a short 100-meter walk from the lake.
  • Camp at Segara Anak Lake, immerse yourself in the beauty of the lake and its surroundings, and enjoy dinner and a peaceful night’s sleep by the lake.
  • Indulge in breakfast at Segara Anak.
  • Allocate additional time to relish the serene ambiance of the lake and the soothing hot spring water.
  • Following lunch, prepare for the ascent to the Crater Rim of Senaru with a 3-hour walk. Exercise caution as the trail becomes steeper and more challenging.
  • Appreciate the breathtaking sunset over Mount Agung in Bali, accompanied by the intriguing sight of smoke emanating from the new volcano’s vent.
  • Camp at the Crater Rim of Senaru, where you can savor your dinner in this picturesque setting.
  • Following breakfast and relishing the sunrise, get ready to descend to Senaru village.
  • Lunch will be arranged along the way, between POS 2 or POS EXTRA.
  • Reach the Senaru Rinjani Trekking Centre around 13:00 PM.
  • Make preparations at our camp for another transfer to Senggigi, Mataram, or Bangsal Harbor if you intend to visit the Gili Islands
