DESCRIPTION Rinjani 4 Days 3 Night From Senaru
This program is specially designed for enjoying trekkers. Participants must be in good fitness, a challenge for every trekker and this track starts from Senaru village, ends at Sembalun village, let’s do it together.
Lombok Arrival – Transfer to Hotel : Arrive at Lombok Airport, or other ports in Lombok such as Lembar / Bangsal Harbor, Teluk Kodek or maybe from the main tourist attractions in between (Mataram, Senggigi, Kuta lombok, 3 Gili Trawangan, Meno, Air) and will be picked up by our representative staff, then transferred to the hotel Sembalun where is the place that we always recommend before the trip, then you can meet our trekking guide and porter, they will brief and explain the trekking procedure and prepare for your trip,
Note!: an overnight pre-trip in Senggigi can be arranged upon request and then leave your hotel at 5.30am.
TYPE OF TOUR
Fully organized (combination of adventure, recreation, security). You will be accompanied by a fully licensed and experienced English speaking mountain guide. Individual or group departures are available upon request. Rinjani Trek requires you to have a good level of fitness and the ability to walk long distances. People with mountain sickness or phobia of heights are not allowed to join this tour. We can adjust the date upon request.
Day 1 : Wake up at 6:30am and get breakfast. After that, we’ll walk to Rinjani Trek center Senaru for register.
The trekking start from Rinjani Trek center Senaru around 8:00am, start the trek through thick tropical forest rich in flora, bird life and variety of butterflies. Rest stops are taken at Pos 2 Montong Satas shelter ( 1.500 m ) for drink tea with some biscuits. After rest continue walk up for another 2 hours to Pos 3 Mondokan Lolak ( 2.000 m ) for rest and lunch.
We’ll leave the Pos 3 after lunch and climb up to the senaru crater rim (2641m) for 2 hours. Senaru crater rim has the second most spectacular view after the summit. We will enjoy the incredible sunset over mountain Agung in Bali and smoke from the new volcano by the lake. We will camp here for the night.
DAY 2 : After breakfast we will continue the trip down to the lake and hot water. Trek down to the lake steep and somewhat slippery, which takes 2.5 hours to reach. We stopped at the Lake side to rest. Here we can enjoy the view of the lake, swimming in the lake and bath in hot water can soothe away your aches and pains after a trip. Porter we will prepare lunch for us. Dinner ans spend the night at lakeside (2000 m).
DAY 3 : We’ll leave the lake after lunch and climb up to the Sembalun crater rim (2639m) for 2.5 hours, We will camp the night at the crater rim. We can enjoy the awesome views of sunrise and sunset. On a clear night, we will be able to see the Milky Way.
DAY 4 :
We wake up around 2:00 am under the cover of darkness with a hot drink and a light breakfast. We will start heading to the summit of Rinjani at 3:00 am. We start with a moderate steep trek, followed by a fairly easy but longer trek. Final approach that involves climbing up steep volcanic scree looser.
At 6:00.am We can reach the summit (3726 m) with a beautiful sunrise, and panoramic view of Lombok island, the island of Bali, the island of Sumbawa and Segara Anak Lake.
After that, we will descend into the crater rim Sembalun within 2 hours and have breakfast here. Then will continue to go down to the village Sembalun, which takes 5 hours to reach. Car will take us to the village of Senaru and we’ll transfer to your the next destination.
